How to Grow
Evergreen perennial, erect, climber or usually scandent, 1–3(6) m high, glabrous.
Flowers solitary in centre of apical cladode fascicle, placed on a small disc, surrounded by a few small, membranous bracts; pedicels 4–6 mm long artciculated below the middle towards the base.
Berry 5–8 mm in diameter, black when ripe, 1–2(3)-seeded.
